Hey guys!
Mario here with a server spotlight!
This time it's the MCInfected server. This was inspired by the MW3 Zombies Mode, and they basically brought CoD: Zombies into Minecraft! Below are the ranks, and the color the rank is is the color it is in-game.
RANKS
Private - Stone Sword
Specialist - Melon x1
Corporal - Apple x1
Sergeant - Apple x1, Melon x1
Staff Sergeant - Iron Boots, Apple x1, Melon x2
Master Sergeant - Apple x2
1st Sergeant - Melon x1
Sergeant Major - Sticky Grenade x1
Command Sergeant Major - Apple x3
2nd Lieutenant - Iron Helmet
1st Lieutenant - Melon x1
Captain - Bow, Arrows x3
Major - Arrows x5, Apple x4
Lt. Colonel - Sticky Grenade x2
Colonel - Iron Leggings
Brigadier General - Flash Grenade x1, Melon x1
Major General - Arrows x10, Apple x5
Lt. General - Arrows x13, Flash Grenade x2
General - Iron Chestplate, Arrows x20, Apple x6

TIPS AND TRICKS
Human
1. This is a well-known one. ALWAYS sprint-jump away from a zombie. Don't walk, don't run, sprint AND jump at the same time. You move quite a bit faster doing this.
2. Shift if you are hiding in a particular spot and plan to stay there. Otherwise
Zombie
1. Try to corner the human. You'll get a good 2 or 3 hits on him/her if you do this.
Decent PvPer (PvP in General)
1. Don't be an idiot. I was on this server when a 1st Lieutenant calls me a 'low level fag'. I was 2 ranks behind this guy...my head was calling him a high level fag.
2. Never run from battle. If you are a decently high-rank, be the tank. Fight for the glory of killstreaks. Be the slayer of all infected beings.
3. If you don't have any iron armor/only the boots, you aren't useless! Believe it or not, you aren't! However, NEVER run off into battle and try to kill zombies. Learn about every map and find unique hiding spots built for non-PvPers.

I can give you my settings, and my computer is dual-core, which isn't mega-fast. So these WILL WORK on a better computer:
Graphics: Fast
Render Distance: Normal or Far (depending on how my computer wants to run)
Smooth Lighting: On
Performance: Max FPS
3D Anaglyph: Off (unless you have red-and-cyan 3D glasses)
View Bobbing: Either
GUI Scale: Small
Advanced OpenGL: On (if you have OptiFine, put it on Fast)
Brightness: Bright/100%
Clouds: Off
Particles: All
Server Textures: On
PRESTIGE
Once you earn Commander, things can get boring after a while. Earning cookies to spend on nothing. Well, they recently added some new things to help you spend your money in style. If you want to restart the fun of MCInfected again, do /prestige. There will be a notice in the chat. If you are absolutely 500% sure, do /prestige again. You will receive a Prestige Token which you can spend in /prestigeshop. Here, you can buy super-cool things for your character:

- Final Stand: if you die in the first 2 minutes of a game, you respawn (only works once per game)
- Throwing Knives: Get 2 throwing knives each game (humans only), do critical damage
- Hardline: Everything requires one less in killstreak (eg. Apple is normally 2 killstreak - reduces to 1 with Hardline)
- Knockback - Enchants sword with Knockback II (humans only)
- Feather Falling - Enchants boots with Feather Falling IV (humans only)
